Yuva Sangam phase VII registration begins at ebsb.aicte-india.org; five thematic pillars

The Ministry of Education has begun the online application process for Yuva Sangam Phase VII (EBSB). The registration window will open until August 18, 2026, on the official portal of EBSB at ebsb.aicte-india.org for the eligible youth.

The programme is open to youth ages 18-30 years, including students of Higher Education Institutions (HEIs), NSS and NYKS volunteers, young professionals and many more.

The 20 identified Higher Education Institutions (HEIs), including IITs, IIMs, Central Universities and NITs, will serve as nodal institutions to host and facilitate the exchange programme.

Exchange programme across paired states

The selected participants will be given educational/cultural tours for 5 to 7 days (excluding the travel days) to their paired State/Union Territories. On these visits, the participants will get first-hand experience of local traditions, education, governance, innovation ecosystems, industries, heritage sites and community life.

Initiative based on five thematic pillars

Yuva Sangam is one of the flagship youth exchange programmes of the Department of Higher Education, Government of India under the Ministry of Education. It is designed to boost emotional connect and understanding among the young citizens of various states and union territories and, through a planned exposure visit, a 'Unity in Diversity'.

The programme has five thematic areas: Paryatan (Tourism), Parampara (Traditions & Culture), Pragati (Development & Governance), Paraspar Sampark (People-to-People Connect), and Prodyogiki (Technology & Innovation). Such events will enable the visitors to gain knowledge about India's cultural diversity and promote mutual understanding and unity of the nation in alignment with the vision of the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020.

Yuva Sangam is executed in a collaborative “Whole of Government” approach with the support of various ministries, departments, state governments and partner HEI. The earlier editions of the programme had received good participation from the youths from all over the country, and urged the eligible applicants to take advantage of the programme and register for Phase VII.
