NEW DELHI: Madhya Pradesh government has cancelled the MP Board Class 12 exam 2021. The Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister, Shivraj Singh Chouhan, said that children's lives are precious for the government. We can not put the mental burden of examinations on the children at the time of COVID-19.

The government has formed a group of ministers who will develop the MP Board Class 12 evaluation criteria. The group will decide the evaluation criteria after discussion with the experts. The results of MP board 12th will be prepared on the basis of Class 12 evaluation criteria to be developed.

The decision to cancel the MP board 12th exam 2021 was taken in view of the exponential rise in the number of COVID-19 cases in the country.

Yesterday, CBSE cancelled the Class 12 board exams, following which, many boards have cancelled their Class 12 exams.

Earlier, the board cancelled the Class 10 board exams and was announced that the students will get marks based on the internal assessment.
