NEW DELHI: Madhya Pradesh Board of Secondary Education has postponed the board examinations till March 31 due to the coronavirus outbreak in India. MPBSE has also suspended the answer sheet evaluation process which was scheduled to start from March 22, 2020. As per the official notification, the updated exam dates will be released soon.
Saleena Singh, MPBSE Chairperson said, “The final examinations that started from March 2 have been postponed midway from tomorrow, i.e March 20, 2020”
The board has taken this immediate decision to postpone the MP board exams due to the increasing cases of coronavirus.
MP Board exams were started on March 2 and about to conclude on March 31. The last date for 10th class was March 27 and for 12th class it was March 31 which is not shifted further. As per the reports, approx 19 lakh students had registered for the MPBSE board examinations. Due to this MP board exam postponement, students will face uncertainty regarding the dates till the board releases the final dates.
