Amid the controversies surrounding the NEET paper leak, the CBSE OSM and CUET result 2026 announcement delay, the Madhya Pradesh Employees Selection Board (MPESB) has postponed the MPESB forest guard, field guard, jail prahari, and assistant jail superintendent combined recruitment exam 2026 scheduled on June 7, shift 2, due to technical failures.

MPESB will conduct the June 7 cancelled exam for affected candidates on June 20 in the first shift from 10 am to 12 pm.

MP forest guard recruitment 2026 exams began on June 4 and were scheduled to end on June 19. Candidates will have to download the new admit card for the June 7 exam, rescheduled on June 20, on the official website, esb.mp.gov.in, using their login credentials.

Candidates are advised to carry their original photo ID along with their MP recruitment exam admit card 2026 to the exam centre for verification purposes.

According to MPESB, the examination scheduled for the second shift on June 7 has been postponed due to a technical problem. The examination will now be conducted on June 20 from 10 am to 12 noon in the first shift. Candidates will be required to download a fresh admit card.

As per a media report, there were three centers in Satna, and 500 students had arrived to participate in the recruitment exam. Two centres were located at Aditya Engineering College, while another was established at Meera Convent Higher Secondary School in Dalibaba.

The MP recruitment exam was scheduled in two shifts; the first shift from 10 am to 12 noon and the second shift from 2:30 pm to 4:30 pm. While the first shift exam was conducted successfully without any issues, the second shift could not begin due to a server failure.

Students raise concern after exam cancellation

Following the exam postponement, several students and the general public have raised concerns and questioned the education system after the NEET paper leak, the CBSE OSM and CUET result date delay controversies.

Students who travel long distances to appear for the exam should not have to bear the consequences of technical issues beyond their control, and cancelling the exam under such circumstances is deeply unfair to them.

“Now, who will bear the consequences of the time and money wasted by these students? And instead of throwing money into schemes like Ladli Behna, why aren't we strengthening our examination system??”, a user posted on X (formerly Twitter) account.

Thousands of candidates who reached the exam centres were made to wait nearly three hours, and they were later informed that the examination had been postponed. The exam postponement has caused massive outrage among students.
