MPSC Engineering Services recruitment Main 2023 on January 28: Exam guidelines issued

Candidates should carry the MPSC engineering services recruitment exam admit card and valid ID card on the exam day.
NEW DELHI: The Maharashtra Public Service Commission (MPSC) has issued exam day instructions for the MPSC Engineering Services Mains exam. Candidates who have qualified for the prelims will have to follow the guidelines.
The MPSC Engineering Services Mains exam is scheduled to be conducted on January 28, 2024. A candidate's eligibility for a cadre or post is based on the standard of physical fitness and educational qualifications. Candidates who do not fulfil the criteria will not be considered for the posts.
MPSC Engineering Services Recruitment 2023: Exam guidelines
The notice released by MPSC lists several guidelines that candidates are required to adhere during the Main recruitment exam 2024.

All candidates should download the original admission certificate and print it from the Commission's online application system website, mpsc.gov.in.

Candidates should reach the allotted examination centre one and a half hours before the exam commences.

Candidates should carry at least one original identity card such as an Aadhaar card, voter ID, passport, PAN card, or driving license with a photograph of the candidate and a printout of the ID.

No candidate will be allowed to carry mobile phones or any other telecommunication device inside the examination hall.

Unauthorized individuals, including friends, relatives, and guardians, are strictly prohibited from entering the exam centre.

The commission has warned of legal action against candidates found to have consumed alcohol and, or narcotic drugs during the examination. Such candidates will be barred from appearing in all examinations conducted by the commission. at the discretion of the commission.

Candidates should proceed to the assigned seat after the verification. Action will be taken against candidates who are found to be sitting on a different seat number rather than the one allotted to them.

The commission will not be making any arrangements for the candidates to park their vehicles at the examination centre.

The instructions given on the question booklet, answer sheet as well as the admit card should be read carefully and followed by all candidates.

Details like exam name, meeting number, set number, subject code etc. should be written properly on the answer sheet.

No additional time is allotted for marking answered questions after the designated examination period.
