NEW DELHI, JUNE 8: The Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education(MSBSHSE) has announced the Maharashtra SSC result at 1 pm. Students can check their results in the official website of MSBSHSE. The result was earlier declared at a press conference at 11 am today. The overall pass percentage is 89.41 per cent. While Konkon has the highest pass percentage with 96 per cent, the region with the lowest pass percentage is Nagpur with 85.97 per cent.
Candidates can check their Maharashtra SSC result by entering their roll number and mother's name. The result can also be accessed through SMS.
Over 16 lakh students appeared for the exam last year at across 4728 exam centres. Of this, over 9 lakh were girls and 7 lakhs boys. The overall pass percentage was 88.74 per cent. Girls outperformed boys with a pass percentage of 91.46 per cent.
The Maharashtra SSC examination was held from March 1 to 24. The result for Maharashtra HSC was declared on May 30.
