NEW DELHI, MAY 28: Manipal Academy of Higher Education has started the first round of MU OET 2018 counselling from May 28 onwards. The counselling of MU OET 2018 is being conducted for admission to B.Tech programmes at the following participating institutes - Manipal Institute of Technology (MIT), Manipal Campus, Manipal Institute of Technology (MIT), Manipal Campus and Manipal University Jaipur (MUJ), Jaipur Campus.
The first round of MU OET counselling is being conducted rank-wise till June 6. In the first round of counselling, candidates will be required to physically report at the counselling centres as per the schedule. For the first round of counselling, there are four centres – Manipal, Sikkim, Jaipur and Hyderabad.
There are total five rounds of counselling; out of which, first round involves physical reporting and rest all are online. There will be spot round too in case of vacant seats.
Eligibility Criteria for MU OET Counselling
Candidates need to fulfil the eligibility criteria to be able to participate in the counselling procedure:
Candidate need to have MU OET 2018 rank
Candidate should have passed in 10+2 / A Level / International Baccalaureate (IB) / American 12th grade o r equivalent examination from a recognized board with Physics, Mathematics and English as compulsory subjects.
Candidate should have minimum aggregate marks of 50 % in Physics, Mathematics and one of the optional subjects. In each of these subjects, they should have secured minimum marks prescribed by the board
Candidates should have appeared for 10+2 / A Level / IB / American 12th grade or Equivalent board examination and those who are waiting for their results are also eligible for the counseling provided they fulfill the above criteria.
Steps involved in MU OET counselling
The following steps are involved in the first round of MU OET 2018 counselling being conducted from May 28 till June 6.
Step 1 – Registration :The first round of MU OET counselling involves physical reporting at the counselling venue. Candidates are required to fill the registration form. It is to be noted that registration in this round will be valid for other rounds too.
Step 2 – Document Verification : Candidates will be required to produce the documents for verification along with one set of self attested photocopies and 2 recent passport size photographs.
Step 3 – Fee Payment : The first instalment course fee of Rs 3,05,000 has to be paid by submitting 2 separate account payee Demand Drafts (DD) for Rs. 2,95,000/- and Rs. 10,000/- in favor of Manipal Academy of Higher Education payable at Manipal or Udupi.
Step 4 – Seat Allotment : The seats will be allotted to candidates as per MU OET ranks and availability of seats. During seat allotment, both the DD's have to be submitted.

Class X marks sheet
Class XII marks sheet
Transfer Certificate
Conduct Certificate
Aadhar Card
Pan Card of the Parents
2 recent passport size photographs
Authorization Letter
Waitlist Procedure
The wait list will be released for second, third, fourth rounds of counselling which will be conducted in online mode. This list will be released only for those candidates who have physically registered themselves by visiting the campus.
Candidates who have got a seat in first round and still wish to participate in subsequent rounds of counseling can opt for waitlist without additional payment
First round registered candidates who have not taken seat in the first round can opt for waitlist with DD payment of Rs.10,000/- as waitlist fee.
