Mumbai University First Merit List 2026 LIVE: MU UG 1st cut-off tomorrow for BCom, BSc; top colleges, schedule

The University of Mumbai (UoM) will release the first merit list for undergraduate (UG) admissions 2026 tomorrow May 25. Students who applied for the FYUG programmes BA, BCom, BSc, BMS, BAF and BAMMC will be able to check the MU UG 1st cut-off and merit list through the Mumbai University’s official website at muugadmission.samarth.edu.in.

Those who will be shortlisted in the MU UG 1st cut-off list , will have to complete document verification and fee payment between May 27 and 29.

Moreover, top MU affiliated colleges such as St Xavier's College Mumbai, Ramnarain Ruia Autonomous College, HR College of Commerce and Economics, KC College, DG Ruparel College, SIES College of Arts, Science and Commerce, Thakur College of Science and Commerce, Rizvi College of Arts, Science and Commerce, among others will also publish 1st merit list on their respective portals.

In addition, the university will release the MU UG 2nd cut-off list on May 30 and the third merit list on June 4 for admission to various UG programmes .

The MU UG merit list is made on the basis of marks obtained by the candidates in the last qualifying exam, total number of seats available, and category of the students.

The college admission cut-off list will include application number, category, programme name, percentage, marks obtained, and admission instructions.

MU UG 1st Cut-off 2026: How to download merit list

Here are the steps to download the MU UG 1st cut-offs, merit list..

• Go to the official website, muggauniversity.samarth.edu.in.
• On the homepage, click on the ‘Mumbai University Merit List’ tab.
• A new page will open, type login details.
• Press the submit button.
• DU UG 1st cut-off merit list will appear on the screen in PDF format.
• Check your name and download the MU UG 1st merit list.

Candidates whose names will be included in the MU UG 1st merit list, should have to confirm their admission by submitting their Class 10, 12 marksheets, Aadhaar or pan or driving license or any other govt ID proof, transfer certificate, and caste certificate.
