Mumbai University: Results for 3,014 students may be withheld as colleges delay verification

The Mumbai University (MU) has directed its affiliated colleges to complete the pending eligibility process of students admitted to degree programmes, and warned that results for 3,014 students may be withheld if the process remains incomplete.

According to the official notification, the Mumbai University has also warned that colleges that MU students across 370 affiliated colleges, who studied in a non-state board schools, were at a risk of having their results withheld as their eligibility formalities are still pending.

“Out of the students who passed the 12th examination from boards other than the Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education and took admission in degree courses in the academic year 2024-25, the eligibility process of those students have not yet been completed,” the university said in an official notice.

MU announces college-wise list of students with pending verification

The college-wise list of such students has been published on the website of Mumbai University, the notice read.

The university has also asked the colleges to “immediately” submit the necessary documents of students whose eligibility is pending to the Admission, Registration, Eligibility and Migration Certificate (AEEM) department.

It has also clarified that all the concerned colleges should verify the documents of the students and complete the necessary action and complete their eligibility process.

Moreover, it has also notified that if the results of the students remain in the “RPV” due to non-completion of the eligibility process, the entire responsibility will remain with the concerned college.

Therefore, it has appealed to the colleges and students to check the college-wise list available on the university website, submit the necessary documents immediately, and complete the eligibility process.
