The Mumbai University (MU) has published the MU UG college-wise second merit list. Affiliated and autonomous colleges have started sharing MU UG 2nd cut-off list on their respective websites. Chetna College and Lala Lajpat Rai college have announced their MU UG 2nd merit list on their official portal. Students seeking admission to BCom, BA, BSc, other undergraduate programmes at MU affiliated colleges can download the MU UG 2nd merit list through the official website at muugadmission.samarth.edu.in using their login credentials.

Those who did not secure a seat in the MU UG 1st merit list , will be eligible for allotment in the 2nd round. As per the MU UG 1st merit list, a total of 1,33,323 students were allotted seats. Of these, 67,583 students secured their first preference college, 20,446 got their second preference, and 13,981 were allotted their third preference colleges.

Commerce stream was the highest allotment with 65,037 seats, followed by Science with 52, 884 and Arts with 15,401, according to the MU UG 1st merit list.

Candidates looking forward to getting admitted to MU colleges will be able to check their MU UG 2nd merit list 2026 by following the steps given below.

  • Go to the official website, muggauniversity.samarth.edu.in.
  • On the homepage, click on the ‘Mumbai University Merit List’ tab.
  • A new page will open, type login details.
  • Press the submit button.
  • MU UG 2nd cut-off merit list will appear on the screen in PDF format.
  • Check your name and download the MU UG 2nd merit list.

The college admission cut-off list will include application number, category, programme name, percentage, marks obtained, admission instructions, stream-wise college allotment, category-wise allotment.

Those who will be allotted college seats in the MU UG 2nd merit list 2026 will have to submit a list of documents for verification process as given below.

  • A printout of your College Admission Application Form
  • A print out of your University Samarth Pre-admission form for ‘Sophia College’.
  • Original Class XII Marksheet
  • Photocopy of Class X Marksheet.
  • Original Migration Certificate
  • Prima Facie Letter issued by the University of Mumbai, Kalina, if you are I.B./ Cambridge Board student.

The MU UG 2nd merit list will allot UG seats for admission to FYUG programmes BSc, BCom, Science, diploma, BA, BMS, BAF and BAMMC. The university will publish the MU UG third merit list on June 4 to fill any remaining vacant seats across several affiliated colleges.
