Muthoot Finance launches higher education scholarships 2025 worth Rs 3.36 crore for BTech, MBBS students

The Muthoot M George Higher Education Scholarship 2025-26 will support 210 students across Kerala, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Mumbai, Delhi, Chennai, and Kolkata. Applications can be submitted till November 30.
Muthoot Finance has announced the ninth edition of the Muthoot M George Higher Education Scholarship 2025-26. The initiative provides financial assistance to meritorious students to support their higher education. The last date to apply for the scholarship is November 30, 2025, through the official website at mgmscholarship.muthootgroup.com.
Students enrolled in Bachelor of Technology (BTech), Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS), and Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Nursing programmes for the academic year 2025 are eligible to apply for the scholarship.
A total of 210 scholarships will be offered to students from Kerala, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Mumbai, Delhi, Chennai, and Kolkata. Candidates will have to submit applications based on their permanent place of residence, not the location of their institution.

Muthoot Finance Scholarship 2025: Eligibility criteria
To be eligible for the scholarship, candidates should have secured at least 90% marks or equivalent grades in Class 12, gained admission through a recognised entrance examination, and have an annual family income below Rs 2 lakh.
Selected MBBS students will receive Rs 2.4 lakh, while BTech and BSc Nursing students will be granted Rs 1.2 lakh each, disbursed over four years. Ten students from each stream — MBBS, BTech, and BSc Nursing — will be chosen from every participating city.
According to the official press release, the scholarship programme has so far supported 394 students, with a total financial outlay of Rs 3.94 crore.
