Nagpur University cancelled August 10, 11 exams due to heavy rain; New exam dates here

Nagpur University: The exams to be held on August 10 will now be conducted on August 16 and the exams scheduled for August 11 on August 21, 2022.
NEW DELHI: Rashtrasant Tukadoji Maharaj Nagpur University has cancelled all its examinations scheduled on Wednesday and Thursday in view of heavy rains in the district. Maharashtra had witnessed heavy rains today prompting two universities to suspend or cancel exams. Kolhapur University has also suspended examinations scheduled on August 10 and 11.
Nagpur University announced that the exams scheduled for today and tomorrow are cancelled due to heavy rains. Following this, the university also informed students and teachers about the revised exam dates. As per the latest notice, the exams scheduled to be held on August 10 will now be held on August 16, 2022.

Taking the situation into consideration, the university later decided to cancel the exams on August 11 as well. Nagpur University will conduct the exams on August 21, 2022, as per the notice.
Due to the flood situation in the district and the adjoining districts, the examinations which were to be held in the next two days were suspended by Kolhapur University . The new time table will be announced later, the Kolhapur district administration said in a statement, as per the PTI report.
The water level of the Panchganga river in Kolhapur has crossed the warning mark. The ndia Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted moderate rain in the city and suburbs with the possibility of heavy showers at isolated places in the next 24 hours. It has also forecast occasional strong winds with a speed of 40-50 kilometre per hour and very likely to reach up to 60 kmph in the metropolis.
