NAT 2024 score card will be valid for two academic years for admission into BArch in 375 HEIs in the country.
NEW DELHI: Council of Architecture (CoA) has activated the NATA 2024 APril 6 and 7 score card link on the official website, nata.in. The National Aptitude in Architecture Test (NATA 2024) score card will be valid for the academic year 2024-25 and 2025-26. Candidates seeking admission in BArch and other UG architecture programmes in 375 institutions, including IITs and NITs, can apply using NATA 2024 score.
The CoA conducts NATA to test the aptitude of the applicant in architecture through assessment of cognitive skills, visual perception and aesthetic sensitivity tests, logical reasoning and critical thinking ability. The NATA 2024 question paper had two parts – drawing and composition test (Part A) and Part B.
In part A, students had to attempt two questions of 25 marks each on composition and colour, and sketching and composition (black and white), and one question of 30 marks to test 3D composition. Part B had 30 questions of two marks each and 15 of four marks each. This section tests abilities such as visual reasoning, logical derivation, architecture, design general awareness, language interpretation, design sensitivity and thinking, and numerical aptitude.
Students had to secure 70 out of 200 marks to qualify the NATA 2024. They will have to get a minimum of 20 marks in Part A and at least 30 marks in Part B.
