NEW DELHI: “Nation First, Always First” will be the theme of 75th Independence Day 2021 celebration, as per The Hindu report. The 75th Independence Day celebrations will be held at Red Fort, like every year, where Prime Minister Narendra Modi will address the nation. All the players who won medals at Tokyo Olympics 2020 have been sent special invitations for the event.
Just like Independence Day 2020, the celebrations this year will be restricted to people and there will be no cultural performance due to the COVID-19 situation. However, a group of NCC cadets will attend the event, as per the report.
The arrangements from flowers to paintings being done for the Independence Day 2021 event will carry the theme “Nation First, Always First”.

According to the report, the Union Ministry of Home Affairs has asked Delhi Police to strictly adhere to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for operating drones during the event on Sunday.
A temporary wall of containers has also been built at the boundary of the Red Fort to prevent any security breach owing to the ongoing protest by the farmers. The containers have also been painted in tricolour.
