National Law University Delhi, Durham University to promote student, faculty exchange
NLU Delhi and UK-based Durham University will also work toward academic collaboration and joint research programmes.

New Delhi: The National Law University (NLU) Delhi and Durham University has signed an agreement to promote academic collaboration, joint research output, and student and faculty exchange programmes.
The agreement was signed in the presence of GS Bajpai, vice-chancellor of NLU Delhi, Bruce Wardhaugh, deputy dean for internationalisation at Durham University, Ruhi Paul, registrar of NLU Delhi and Daniel Mathew, dean of international relations of NLU Delhi.
On the occasion, Bajpai said, "The NLU has been associated with Durham University for a very long time. I am glad that the two institutions have now formalised their collaboration with the signing of this agreement. This will enable joint academic research, foster exchange of ideas and encourage student and faculty mobility programmes."
"Through this partnership, NLU Delhi furthers its commitment to deepen international ties and explore global academic prospects," he added.

Bruce Wardhaugh said, "We are very glad to partner with NLU Delhi as it is one of the leading law universities in India. Both Durham and NLU Delhi share the same values and set of commitments to academia, research, and social impact. A collaboration of this nature is mutually beneficial to both the partner institutions, its faculty and especially its students."
National Law University Delhi is ranked second in the law category of the National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF 2023). Durham University is ranked 78th in the QS World University Ranking. It provide undergraduate programmes in international relations, philosophy, politics, economics, marketing, management, accounting and finance.
