National Overseas Scholarship 2023 registration begins; Steps to apply

NEW DELHI: The Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment (MSJE) has opened the National Overseas Scholarship (NOS) registration window from today, February 15, 2023. Students who belong to the minority category can register through the official website – nosmsje.in. The last date to apply for NOS is March 31, 2023.

A total of 125 students who belong to the Scheduled Caste (SC), Denotified Nomadic and Semi-Nomadic Tribes, Landless Agricultural Labourers and Traditional Artisans category will get the National Overseas Scholarship to pursue the PhD programme in abroad.

While applying, candidates will need aadhar card, 10th board certificate, caste certificate, photo, scanned signature, current address proof, permanent address, proof, qualifying degree certificate, mark sheet of qualifying exam, valid document regarding admission in a foreign university, income certificate, employer's NOC certificate (if any), gap certificate (if any), and ITR acceptance document.

National Overseas Scholarship 2023: How to register online

• First, go to the official website – nosmsje.gov.in
• On the homepage, click on the scholarship registration link.
• Enter the necessary details and complete the registration process.
• Login and fill out the application form, upload the relevant documents and submit the form.
• Download the filled NOS application form and take a printout of it for further reference.
