Navodaya Vidyalaya Class 9 lateral entry selection test for West Bengal and Nainital district will be held on March 17.

NEW DELHI: Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti has issued the Class 9 lateral entry selection test (LEST) admit card 2024 for all districts of West Bengal and Nainital district in Uttarakhand. The exams which were earlier postponed in these two states will not be held on March 17.

“The selection test for classes IX & XI LEST 2024 i.r.o. district Nainital (Uttarakhand) and for class XI LEST 2024 i.r.o all districts of West Bengal which was postponed earlier, is now scheduled on 17.03.2024 (Sunday)," the JNV official website read.
Students will have to key in their registration number, date of birth and security pin in the NVS LEST Class 9 admit card download link to view the hall ticket. The exams for West Bengal and Nainital district were postponed due to administrative reasons. For other districts the lateral entry exam for Class 9 for the academic year 2024-25 was held on February 10.
The NVS has also modified the criteria to break a tie in case two or more students score the same marks in the lateral entry selection test. The tie-breaking rule will be implemented in the order given below.
