NCU teams up with Arizona State University and Cintana Education to build up innovating learning experiences

NEW DELHI: NorthCap University (NCU) Gurgaon in a collaborative effort with Arizona State University (ASU) has announced its future plans to join hands with Cintana Alliance, a global network of aspirational universities. Explaining the decision, the university says it is a conscious effort to pitch the National Education Policy (2020) framework to enable acceptance of more digital transformation of education curricula, introduce new innovative programmes and expand the research collaboration across the globe.
“As we embark upon our strategic vision, we aim to be a top ranked innovation- focussed private university in north India by 2026. To achieve this, the key focus will be on building an ecosystem that thrives on ‘Innovation’ across academia and industry and to disseminate international education" as per the official announcement.
The NCU officials further explained the objective of the collaboration between NCU and ASU, saying the aim is long-term university-wide strategic collaboration.
On the public research front, ASU is ranked as the top university in the US for innovation by US News & World Report from 2016-21. The Times Higher Education 2021 had ranked the university as the top most institution in the US for Global Impact.
NorthCap University, Gurgaon is a UGC, AICTE, BCI accredited first private engineering university in the state of Haryana. As per the National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) 2020, the University is among the top 200 Indian universities. The institution offers multidisciplinary degrees across various domains such as engineering, applied sciences, management, liberal arts and law. Over the years, about 11,000 graduates have passed from the university.
