NEW DELHI, April 17: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has released the NEET admit card 2018 on April 17, 2018. The NEET admit card, which is basically the exam hall ticket, was scheduled to be released in the second week of April 2018 but was delayed without any official notice. NEET 2018 is scheduled to be held on May 6, 2018.

Important Points about NEET 2018 Admit Card

The admit card of NEET 2018 has been issued in online mode on the official CBSE NEET website and has also been sent to the individual email accounts of NEET 2018 candidates. As candidates login to download the admit card, they will have to submit their consent to a declaration which asks all NEET candidates to follow the proper dress code and notifies them about the documents that need to be carried at the examination centre.

The proforma requirement which was a feature of NEET 2017 admit card has been done away with this year. A separate ‘Important Instructions’ sheet has been added as Page 2 of the NEET 2018 admit card document this year.

Candidates have been allotted different morning slots, “A” & “B”, and they are required to report to their NEET exam centre as per the timing for the slot allotted to them. Candidates are also advised to visit the examination centre a day before the entrance exam to become familiar with the route and to estimate the time it will take to reach.

How to download NEET 2018 Admit Card?

  • The candidates can download the NEET admit card from the link given below.

  • It will be mandatory to fill registration number, date of birth in DD/MM/YYYY format and enter the security pin as displayed next to the NEET admit card login window.

  • Candidates can then click on the ‘Submit’ button.

  • A declaration page will be displayed. Candidates should click on ‘I Agree to all above conditions’ and download the admit card.

  • Candidates should print the admit card and preserve the same till the NEET 2018 admission process is concluded.

Who is eligible for NEET 2018?

The Delhi High Court is currently hearing various petitions filed against the NEET 2018 eligibility criteria by different students who were barred from appearing for the exam. These include candidates above the age of 25 years, those who completed their schooling from open schools, those who studied Biology as an additional subject and those who completed Class 12 privately. The High Court Bench is expected to give its final verdict on April 17, 2018.

As mentioned on the NEET 2018 Admit Card, the document has been “issued provisionally to the candidate subject to his/her satisfying the eligibility conditions”, indicating that all candidates who are contesting the eligibility criteria are also free to download the admit card for now.

What after downloading NEET admit card 2018?

The candidates should check their NEET admit card to see if there are any mistakes. In case of any discrepancies, the same should be brought to the notice of the CBSE at the earliest. Without the admit card, no candidate will be allowed to appear for NEET 2018.
