NEET 2021: Announce the exam date or cancel, students demand

NEW DELHI: After the announcement of the JEE Main, JEE Advanced, and Boards exam dates, medical aspirants are anxious to know about dates and updates on the National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test (NEET). Social media is flooded with questions and demands regarding the NEET 2021 schedule and conduction.

Neither the National Testing Agency (NTA) nor Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal ‘Nishank’ has made any clarification or announcement on NEET 2021. Even there are aspirants who are demanding to conduct the medical entrance exam twice a year. The tweets on demands and questions related to NEET 2021 has been mentioned below.

Announce the NEET 2021 exam date

Aspirants tweeted and requested Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal to announce the exam date of NEET as early as possible.

The delay in announcing NEET 2021 dates has made parents request the authorities to clarify on the same.

Cancel the NEET exam for the 2021 session

A medical aspirant has requested to cancel NEET 2021 for students who are appearing for Class 12 exams.

Give multiple attempts for NEET 2021

Students are urging authorities to provide them multiple attempts to appear for the medical entrance test. The education minister earlier announced that the JEE Mains will be held in four sessions.

Know about the NEET exam

Previously NEET-UG was conducted on September 13 due to COVID-19 and for the medical entrance test 2021 session, exam dates have not been announced. Through NTA NEET 2021, admission will be granted to 80,055 MBBS, 26,949 BDS, 50,720 AYUSH, and 525 veterinary seats.
