NEW DELHI: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has extended the last date to use the correction window facility for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) at neet.nta.nic.in. With the help of the NEET 2021 application form correction window, aspirants can make changes in their phase 1 and 2 particulars. NEET 2021 was conducted on September 12 in pen and paper-based mode. Aspirants are advised to read further to know the details that can be edited through the NEET correction window 2021.

NEET 2021 correction window: Phase 1 application details that can be edited

Aspirants must know that only the selective fields from the phase 1 registration can be edited through the edit window of NEET 2021. The list of details candidates can edit are as follows:

  • Gender

  • Nationality

  • Email address

  • Category

  • Sub-category

NEET 2021 application form correction window: Details to be edited in phase 2

All the details in NEET phase 2 registration form can be edited within the due date. Following are the particulars which can be modified.

  • Personal details such as gender, nationality, email address, girl child status, place of residence, minority category, if applicable

  • Educational qualifications of class 10, 11and 12 such as mode of preparation, year of passing, schooling details, marks obtained/ CGPA, board, roll number as well as qualification code.

  • Place of Birth and nationality

  • Parental Income details

  • Uploaded documents as applicable: Category Certificate, Person With Benchmark Disability (PwBD) Certificate, Class 10 Certificate, Citizenship Certificate.

How to avail NEET 2021 correction window facility

To avoid any confusion, given below are the steps on how candidates can make changes in their NEET 2021 application form with the help of the correction window.

  • Visit the official website neet.nta.nic.in.

  • Click on the link that says "Correction Phase II NEET (UG) 2021

  • Enter the application number, password and security pin

  • Click on the link "Click here for corrections in NEET (UG)-2021 Application”.

  • Following that, candidates can edit or delete or modify the details.

  • Cross-check the edited fields from the preview section.

  • Enter the One Time Password (OTP) sent to the registered mobile number or mail ID

  • Enter the mentioned security pin and save the changes.

NEET 2021: What’s next?

NTA will soon release the NEET 2021 official answer key at neet.nta.nic.in. Candidates who appeared in the undergraduate medical exam will be able to calculate their estimated scores with the help of the answer keys released by NTA. Candidates will also be able to challenge any answer key if they wish to by paying Rs 1000 for every challenged answer. Based on the challenges submitted by the candidates, NEET UG 2021 result will be announced in the online mode.
