Download EBookNEW DELHI : The National Testing Agency (NTA) announced the National Eligibility Entrance Test or NEET 2021 results. The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) will now conduct NEET 2021 counselling for qualified candidates seeking admission to government medical and dental colleges for 15% All India Quota (AIQ) seats and 100% seats in deemed/central universities, ESIC/AFMS institutes, AIIMS and JIPMER.
The counselling schedule for NEET UG 2021 will soon be released at the official website of MCC mcc.nic.in. Those who qualify for the NEET exam and want to participate in the counselling process for admission need to register online on the official website.
NEET 2021 counselling will be conducted online in two rounds for AIQ seats, while the mop-up round will be organised for deemed and central universities, ESIC/AFMS institutes, AIIMS and JIPMER..
NEET counselling 2021: What documents are needed?
According to the official one-line notice on MCC's website, mcc.nic.in, NEET-UG counselling will begin soon. Therefore, it is expected that information on the NEET 2021 counselling dates and the registration process is expected to begin this week. Meanwhile, candidates are advised to keep all the necessary documents.
The documents for NEET counselling 2021 are as follows:

Class 10 certificate and mark sheet (for date of birth)

ID proof (Aadhar/PAN Card/Driving License/Passport)

NRI/ OCI candidates appearing for Deemed Universities must submit the following documents

Passport copy of sponsored, embassy certificate

Sponsorship affidavit (stating that sponsor is ready to bear the expenses for the whole duration of study)

Relationship Affidavit (relation of candidate with the sponsorer)
NEET counselling 2021 process
The NEET counselling process in government colleges is conducted at two levels - 15% AIQ and 85% state quota levels. The AIQ NEET 2021 counselling will be conducted by the MCC on behalf of the DGHS, the state quota counselling will be conducted by the state counselling authorities.
During the counselling registration process, aspirants have to provide their choices of colleges and courses. The seat allotment of NEET 2021 will be done on the basis of choices filled, seats available, NEET rank, reservation criteria and other factors.
