NEW DELHI: As the NEET results have been released by the National Testing Agency (NTA) on its official website nta.neet.nic, the counselling is expected to begin soon and will be conducted by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC). In conjunction with the release of NEET-UG 2021 results, MCC has published a notice on its official website mcc.nic.in that states, "Online Counselling will be available soon”
Candidates who have scored above the NEET 2021 cut-off can register online at mcc.nic.in for the 15% All India Quota (AIQ) seats, which are available for undergraduate medical and allied courses across the country. In order to register for NEET counselling, aspirants need to enter the asked details and pay registration fee.
Before participating in the NEET-UG 2021 counselling process, candidates are expected to read all the necessary information thoroughly, such as fees for registration, number of rounds, top colleges, refund policy etc.

During the NEET counselling registration, candidates need to register themselves by entering the personal, contact, academic, NEET score and other details. They also need to pay the NEET counselling fee in online mode. In view of the impending start of counselling, it is very important for students to review and update themselves about the type fees that will be due at the time of counselling. A student will be required to pay two kinds of fees, the registration fee (non-refundable) and the security fee (refundable). The registration and security fees differ among institutions and categories.

In case a candidate is applying for both AIQ and Deemed University, only the higher fee will be payable, that is, Rs 5,000 (counselling/registration) plus Rs 2,00,000 (security amount).
