The Directorate of Medical Education (DME), Assam has released the state merit list of Assam medical and dental admission. The merit list has been released mentioning the name of the aspirants who appeared in the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET-UG) and secured the minimum cutoff percentile. Such aspirants are now eligible to participate in the Assam MBBS/BDS counselling 2021, which will be conducted in the online mode soon.

Through the counselling session, a total of 900 MBBS and 40 BDS will be granted under 85% states quota. While the counselling for the rest 15% of All India Quota seats will be conducted by Medical Counselling Committee i.e. MCC. NEET 2021 Assam admission: What’s Next?
The counselling authorities will now release the schedule of the Assam MBBS BDS counselling 2021. The counselling session will be conducted in a total of two rounds for admission in six medical and one dental college of Assam. In order to participate in the Assam NEET counselling 2021, eligible aspirants will have to fill the application form and choice of course & colleges.

On the basis of choices filled by the candidates in the counselling session, NEET 2021 rank and seat availability, the seats will be allotted to the medical and dental colleges of Assam.
