NEW DELHI: The National Testing Agency (NTA) will conduct the National Eligibility Entrance Test (NEET) UG 2021 today. During the NEET 2021 exam, students will be provided with a question booklet and an OMR answer sheet. NTA released the instructions on how to fill the OMR sheet.

Filling the Optical Mark Readings (OMR) sheet correctly is crucial as they are evaluated by a computer software which can detect only properly filled black-colored bubbles given on the sheet.

Students are not permitted to write anything on the NEET 2021 OMR sheet except filling the required details.
Students must ensure to:
Mark their answers in the OMR sheet carefully and follow instructions given by NTA.
Mark answers in the given space against a particular question
Fill answers in bubbles carefully since the computer software will evaluate the properly filled black-colored bubbles only
Avoid tampering or scratching the OMR sheet
Write roll number, test booklet number, question paper code, name and other required details only.
Write candidate number, mother’s name and father’s name in the running handwriting in the name column
Not to fill more than one answer for a question as there is only one correct answer
Apart from that, students should check if the code printed on the NEET 2021 OMR sheet should be the same as on the question paper booklet. In case of any discrepancy, candidates must inform the invigilator immediately for the replacement of NEET question paper and answer sheet.
Also, the English version will be considered as the final version in case of any discrepancy in the question paper in any language.

Last year, around 13.66 lakh students appeared for NEET UG 2020 of which 771500 candidates had qualified the exam. The two toppers from Delhi had attained 720 out of 720 marks in NEET 2020.
