NEET 2024 exam concludes; answer key soon

NEW DELHI: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has concluded the NEET UG 2024 exam. The exam was conducted for over 24 lakh candidates at various centres in and outside of India. The answer key of NEET will be released by the official authority. The NEET 2024 exam was conducted today in a single shift from 2 pm to 5:20 pm. The question paper for the exam had 200 multiple choice questions, of which candidates had to answer 180 questions. For each correct answer, candidates will get 4 marks and for every wrong answer, 1 mark will be deducted.

NEET 2024 answer key

The NTA will release the provisional answer key of NEET 2024 soon on its official website, neet.ntaonline.in. Candidates can download the answer key from the official website. With the help of the NEET 2024 answer key, candidates can determine the probable score they can score in NEET 2024.

The answer key of NEET UG 2024 is the most reliable source through which a candidate can evaluate their performance in the entrance test. Candidates can use the given formulas to evaluate total marks obtained in NEET 2024 and NEET percentile scored by the candidate.

Formula for calculating total marks

NEET marks = 4 X total correct answers - 1 X total incorrect answers

Formula to calculate percentile scored

NEET percentile rank= 100 x Number of candidates who appeared with the raw score equal to or less than the candidate/ Total number of candidates who appeared in the NEET exam.

NEET 2024 result

As per the official notification, the NEET 2024 result will be released by NTA on June 14, 2024. The NEET result 2024 will be released on the official website, neet.ntaonline.in. Candidates need to enter their application number and date of birth to check the NEET result 2024. NEET result 2024 will also be sent in the form of a scorecard to the email IDs of registered candidates. The NEET result pdf contains personal details, NTA NEET 2024 qualifying marks, total marks, All India Rank (AIR), category rank, 15% All India Quota (AIQ) rank, and other details of the candidates.
