NEW DELHI: The National Testing Agency (NTA) will end the registration process for National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test - Undergraduate (NEET UG) 2024 today at 9 pm. As the application window is about to close, candidates are urging the NTA to extend the last date to submit the NEET UG 2024 application form.

According to the applicants, they are facing technical snags on the application website or issues regarding the Aadhaar number. Due to this, candidates whose mobile number is not linked to their Aadhaar Card are unable to register for NEET UG exam 2024 as it is mandatory to verify the Aadhaar Number during the application and login process for NEET 2024.
A user on X said, "NEET UG 2024 applicants are facing problems in receiving OTP on their mob while login with aadhar card details-either not linked with mob no or linked mob no is unavailable. It is requested to extend application portal till March 15 in student interest."

Some students are unable to fill the NEET UG application 2024 because they are not getting OPT on time. Another applicant on X said, " Some students are unable NEET 2024 application form because of site error. Not getting OTP is big problem. Please extend the date or solve this problem in next 1 hour please."
The NEET UG 2024 is scheduled to be conducted on May 5, 2024. Over 20 lakh candidates are expected to appear for the medical entrance examination 2024. Once the registration window closes, candidates wil be given time to make corrections in the application form.
The exam will comprise of 200 multiple-choice questions from Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (Botany and Zoology) of which 50 questions in each subject will be divided into two Sections (A and B). NEET UG 2024 will be held in offline mode and the duration of the exam will be 3 hours and 20 minutes from 2 pm to 5:20 pm.
