NEW DELHI: The single-largest medical entrance exam, National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test undergraduate (NEET UG exam 2024), is slated to be held on May 5. Around 24 lakh registered students will be appearing for the exam on Sunday, as per reports. With just two days left for the exam, here’s the complete guidelines and last-minute reminders for MBBS aspirants.

NEET exam will be conducted in 557 exam cities in India and 14 cities abroad. As per the exam timings, NEET UG will commence at 2 pm and will end at 5.20 pm. The exam will be conducted in 13 languages.
The NTA recently asked candidates to ensure the downloaded NEET UG admit card displays their photo and signature. If not, they have been asked to redownload the NEET hall ticket from the official website.
The NTA has hosted the NTA NEET admit card 2024 on the official websites, nta.ac.in, exams.nta.ac.in/NEET, and neet.ntaonline.in. Applicants will have to key in their application number and password generated during the registration process or date of birth and the security pin displayed on the screen to download NEET hall ticket 2024.
NEET admit card is a mandatory document which has to be carried along with a valid photo identity card and two passport size photographs same as the one uploaded in admit card for verification purposes.
The NTA has announced the NEET dress code guidelines in the information brochure and along with the admit card. As per the guidelines, candidates should avoid wearing the following on the date of the exam.
The entry gate will be closed at 1.30 pm. Candidates are advised to reach the exam centre at least two hours before the exam timings, ie. 12.30 pm for frisking and verification process. Complete details on timings.

The NEET question paper will have two sections - section A will have 35 questions and section B will have 15 questions. Students’ knowledge on physics, chemistry, botany and zoology will be tested. Candidates can check the exam pattern for the medical entrance examination 2024.

The Union health minister Mansukh Mandaviya had announced that the MBBS seats have increased from 50,000 in 2014 to 1,07,000 now. Through NEET score, candidates will be offered admission to MBBS, BDS, BAMS, BSMS, BUMS, and BHMS courses.
