The National Testing Agency (NTA) held the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test - undergraduate (NEET UG 2025) across 550 exam cities in India and abroad. The NEET 2025 exam is one of the toughest exams , with over 23 lakh students competing for 1.18 lakh MBBS seats.
While, more than 27,000 BDS seats were filled through NEET counselling conducted by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) under 15% All India Quota (AIQ) and state counselling committees for the 85% state quota. India has over over 300 dental colleges offering BDS courses.
NEET 2025: BDS cut-off for top dental colleges
Top dental medical colleges like Maulana Azad Institute of Dental Sciences (MAMC), New Delhi, Government Dental College, Mumbai, and Nair Dental College, Mumbai offered admission to students with NEET ranks ranging from 4000 to 30000 under the general category. Candidates scoring between 350 to 520+ out of the total 720 NEET marks will have a good chance of getting admission in top BDS colleges in India.
Last year’s NEET BDS cut-off for top dental colleges under AIQ quota for general category.
