NEET Answer Key 2025 LIVE: NEET UG unofficial key updates; rank predictor, cut-offs for MBBS, BDS

According to the data presented by the central government in Lok Sabha, more than 36% of faculty positions at 20 functional All India Institutes of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) are vacant. The data was shared by Prataprao Jadhav, the minister of state of health and family welfare, in response to queries made by Jaipur MP Manju Sharma (BJP) regarding 5,799 posts sanctioned for teachers, in which 3,693 are currently filled, while no appointments have been made for the remaining 2106 posts.

According to the data shared by the ministry of health and family welfare, MBBS seats in the country have increased to 1,18,190 from 51,348 before 2014, and PG seats from 31,185 before 2014 to 74,306 now. Additionally, as per the data, there's a significant increase of 101.5% in medical colleges from 387 before 2014 to 780.

Last year's category-wise NEET UG rank, along with the NEET UG scores of the Bihar government medical colleges are shown in the table below.

NEET MBBS cutoffs have risen for Uttar Pradesh government colleges in previous years. The closing AIQ NEET 2024 rank for Dr Ram Manohar Lohia Institute of Medical Sciences, Lucknow was 3956, while LLRM Meerut stood at 5881, and SN Medical College, Agra was recorded at 7212.

NEET 2025 cut-off for MBBS admission at government medical colleges in Madhya Pradesh dropped in 2024. The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) will conduct NEET counselling for 15% AIQ seats of state medical colleges. The previous year cutoff for Bundelkhand Medical College is as follows. 

• General: 14712

• OBC-NCL: 14963
• SC: 91452
• ST: 101278

The NTA will announce the NEET cut-off 2025 for MBBS and BDS admissions during the result announcement. General and General-EWS category candidates must obtain a minimum NEET cut-off of the 50th percentile, while for OBC, SC, and ST, it is set at the 40th percentile. NEET UG 2025 exam is over. Initial student reactions suggest that the NEET UG 2025 exam was moderate to tough in difficulty level. 

The Government Medical College and Hospital, Chandigarh, one of the top government medical colleges in the country, will also admit students for its MBBS courses through NEET scores. Last year, the NEET closing rank for general category in the AIQ MCC counselling stood at AIR 778, for OBC it was 1212, Economically Weaker Section was at 1944. The last rank admitted for MBBS in the college under SC, ST categories are 11544 and 37027 respectively.

India's largest medical entrance exam, NEET UG 2025, is over. NEET exam difficulty level, answer key, question paper analysis soon. NEET exam is held for 720 marks. As per the NEET marking scheme, each question carries 4 marks, and one mark will be deducted for every wrong response, and no marks will be provided for unanswered questions.

The NEET UG 2025 question paper consist of three sections - physics, chemistry, and biology - carrying multiple-choice questions (MCQs) with single correct answer. Physics and chemistry had 45 questions each, and biology, which is divided intro zoology and botany, had 90 questions is total. Each question carries 4 marks. Therefore, the total NEET marks for 180 compulsory questions is 720.

The NTA has announced strict guidelines to follow on exam day to prevent unfair practices. It considers malpractices an non-bailable offence. Students who are found indulging in unfair means will have to face imprisonment of three years, which can get extended to 5 years, with a fine of Rs 10 lakh. Additionally, the student will also be debarred for 3 years.

NEET exam 2025 is over. The National Testing Agency (NTA) will soon publish the NEET UG answer key 2025 on the official website, neet.nta.nic.in. 

Around 22.7 lakh students appeared for the NEET UG 2025 exam today. Of which, 6,200 are from Vadodara, Gujarat, 5,328 from Kotputli-Behror, Rajasthan, 23,000 from Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh, 51,510 from Jammu and Kashmir, and 36,000 from Jaipur, Rajasthan.

Karnataka has 24 government medical colleges for medical aspirants, and the state offers over 3,750 MBBS seats for admissions. However, admission to courses such as pharmacy, agriculture, and veterinary is based on the Karnataka UGCET exam 2025. Last year, the NEET MBBS cutoff for Bangalore Medical College and Research Institute increased from rank 1566 in 2023 to 1412. 

In the unlikely event that any candidate is not able to secure an MBBS seat, they can appear for the NEET exam again, as there's no maximum limit on the number of attempts for the NEET exam. 

The NEET UG 2025 exam is underway and will end at 5 pm today. Apart from MBBS and BDS admissions, NEET UG qualifiers will also get admission to the Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (BAMS), Bachelor of Homeopathic Medicine and Surgery (BHMS), Bachelor of Unani Medicine and Surgery (BUMS), and Bachelor of Siddha Medicine and Surgery (BSMS) courses offered by multiple private medical colleges.

Students will have access to the NEET 2025 official answer key soon after the exam is over, issued by NTA. Students will be able to calculate their probable scores and expected cutoffs based on the marks secured in the NEET UG 2025 exam.

This year, NTA removed the options section B questions from the NEET 2025 question paper. The NEET UG 2025 exam paper includes 180 questions in total comprising of 720 marks. 

NTA is conducting NEET UG 2025 exam today from 2 pm to 5 pm for over 22 lakh MBBS aspirants at various exam centres across the country.
