The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has extended the round 1 NEET UG counselling 2025 schedule for 15% All India Quota (AIQ) and 85% state quota admissions. Several states, including Uttar Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, and Punjab, will announce the round 1 MBBS and BDS seat allotment results by August 14 on their respective websites. Candidates applying for the MCC NEET UG counselling 2025 will have to fill and lock choices of colleges and courses by tonight. As per the revised schedule, the MCC round 1 NEET UG seat allotment will be announced on August 11 on the official website, mcc.nic.in.
The deadline to complete round 1 MBBS admission under the state quota has been set for August 18. With most states already midway through the seat allotment process, the allotment results for this academic year 2025-26 for 1.18 lakh MBBS seats will be announced by August 14.
In total, there will be four rounds of NEET counselling 2025 this year - round 1, round 2, round 3, and a stray vacancy round.
UP NEET UG seat allotment 2025, initially scheduled to be announced for August 5, has been postponed to August 14 after the MCC directive. TN Medical Selection Committee has extended the choice filling date for Tamil Nadu NEET UG counselling till August 12. The last date to register for West Bengal NEET UG counselling is also August 12.
A day after publishing the allotment results, the Kerala Commissioner for Entrance Examinations (CEE Kerala) announced it will publish the revised seat allotment list on August 16 and has given aspirants extra time to fill, arrange, delete, or re-arrange their order of preference between August 9 to 15.

The NEET choice locking facility will open at 6 pm today and will be active till midnight. The annual fees for the MBBS course in Haryana differ between government and government-aided medical colleges. In government colleges, the fee starts at Rs 80,000 in the first year and increases each year, reaching Rs 1,00,327 in the fourth year and Rs 63,546 in the fifth year, with a total fee of Rs 4,22,910 for the entire course. In government-aided colleges, the annual fee remains Rs 1,80,000 for the first four years and decreases to Rs 90,000 in the final year, amounting to a total of Rs 8,10,000 for the five-year course. Fees are payable at the beginning of each academic session.

Yes. Maharashtra follows a closed state policy for MBBS/BDS state quota seats, meaning only candidates with Maharashtra domicile are eligible for state quota counselling in government colleges. The Director General Medical Education and Training, Uttar Pradesh, has revised the UP NEET UG counselling schedule for round 1 as per the MCC directive. Candidates will be able to apply for UP MBBS, BDS admission by August 11 through the official website, upneet.gov.in.
