NEET UG: Amid the ongoing claims circulating on Telegram and other online platforms regarding the NEET UG 2026 paper leak, the exam conducting authority, the National Testing Agency (NTA), has warned aspirants “not to fall prey to such scams” and only rely on official NTA updates.

The testing agency has warned those spreading misinformation of strict legal action and said that these online channels are “being blocked”.
NTA has further advised students to follow official NTA websites and verified channels for updates regarding the NEET UG 2026 exam.
“Beware of fraudsters spreading rumours about NEET papers on Telegram and other platforms. Do not fall prey to such scams. Rely only on official updates from NTA website and verified social media handles. Strict legal action is being taken, and such channels are being blocked,” NTA posted on its official X account.

A user posted on X, asking the testing agency how the confidential documents are getting leaked on social media platforms, and why no action is being taken, replying to which NTA said that students should refrain from such reports and focus on their exam preparation instead.
“Please tell how your Confidential documents are getting leaked in Telegram WhatsApp and they are claiming that they are having papers how? They are getting paper from printing press. Why no adequate security and scrutiny This racket is going every year still why NO Quick action?”
Replying to a user on X (formerly Twitter) said: “These are all fake and being shared by scamsters. Action is being taken against them. Students should refrain from engaging with them and focus on their preps.”
Last year, early in May, NTA flagged more than 100 Telegram and Instagram channels that spread false information and alleged paper-leak claims about the national-level medical entrance exam.
Every year, NEET UG paper leak claims spark widespread controversy.
In 2024, aspirants dragged NTA and Centre to the Supreme Court, ultimately leading to cancellation of NEET UG results 2024, followed by a drop in the number of toppers. The top court, however, refused to cancel the exam, citing a lack of data to show widespread breach.

The National Eligibility -cum- Entrance Test - Undergraduate (NEET-UG 2026) is the single national-level medical entrance exam for admission to MBBS, BDS, AYUSH, BSc Nursing, BVSc & AH and other undergraduate medical courses across India.
The testing agency will conduct NEET UG 2026 on May 3 in a single shift from 2 pm to 5 pm. The NTA syllabus for NEET 2026 is based on the NCERT Class 11 and 12 Physics, Chemistry, and Biology curriculum.
