NEET 2026 Admit Card Release Date : According to the latest National Testing Agency’s (NTA) update National Eligibility - cum - Entrance Test - Undergradute (NEET UG) admit card 2026 will be issued tomorrow by 10 am. NTA will conduct NEET 2026 medical entrance exam on May 3 across 552 centres across the country and 14 cities abroad.

NEET UG 2026 exam will be held in a single shift from 2 pm to 5 pm.

Candidates will be given 180 multiple-choice questions (MCQs) comprising 720 marks, with 180 marks for physics and chemistry and 360 marks for biology. As per the NEET marking scheme 2026, candidates will be given four marks for every correct answer, and one mark will be deducted for incorrect responses.

Recently, NTA also warned NEET aspirants not to fall prey to fake news circulating online regarding NEET UG paper leak and only rely on official updates.

NEET Admit Card 2026: How to download?

The steps to download the NEET admit card 2026 are as follows.

  • Visit the official website, neet.nta.nic.in.
  • Click on “NEET UG 2026 Admit Card” link on the homepage.
  • Log in using your application number and password and date of birth
  • Enter the security pin displayed on the screen
  • Click on submit to access your admit card, and download it
  • Take a printout on an A4-size sheet and save for future reference.

NTA conducts the NEET exam for admissions to MBBS, BDS, BAMS, BUMS, BSMS, and BHMS courses.

NEET 2026 guidelines, dress code, prohibited items

NTA has advised candidates appearing for the NEET UG 2026 exam to keep their Aadhaar biometric details updated for smooth biometric verification at the examination centre. Candidates must carry their hall ticket and a government-issued ID to the NEET exam 2026 centres for verification purposes.

As per NEET 2026 dress code guidelines , both male and female candidates appearing for the exam must wear sleeved shirts and t-shirts with simple pants and trousers. Bulky clothes with zip pockets, big buttons, sequins, or embroideries should be avoided.

All candidates will be subjected to extensive and compulsory frisking before entering the examination centre with the help of a highly sensitive metal detector. Therefore, any kind of metallic device, food items, ornaments, metal items, belt, goggles, wrist watch, etc, are strictly prohibited.

The National Medical Commission (NMC) has recently directed all medical colleges to stay alert and ensure that students do not participate in any activities that might disrupt the smooth conduct of the NEET UG examination.

In light of reports from previous years highlighting the involvement of some medical students in unfair practices, colleges have been instructed to withhold leave on May 2 and 3, except in exceptional cases supported by valid reasons.
