Download EBookNEW DELHI: Several students face difficulty in challenging NEET answer key 2022 and some claimed that they are unable to view their NEET response sheet and key. The National Testing Agency (NTA) released the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) answer key 2022 on the official website, neet.nta.nic.in, along with the candidates’ response sheet.

As per the official notice, candidates will be able to challenge NEET UG 2022 answer key upto September 2, 2022, till 11.50 PM. They will have to pay Rs 200 as an objection fee for each answer key or question challenge.
If the challenge of any candidate is found correct, the provisional answer key will be revised and applied in the response of all the candidates accordingly. Based on the correction, NEET final answer key, the result will be prepared and declared, the NTA informed students.

However, students have expressed concerns on social media as they have been facing difficulty in raising objections. Several students have claimed on Twitter that out of the 4 options, the NEET answer key released by the NTA has marked option 5 as the correct answer. Confused students have demanded clarification on the discrepancy and about bonus marks.
“My Omr and answer key is not visible in my portal so kindly help me out,” a student wrote on Twitter.

How to challenge NEET answer key 2022
As per the NEET 2022 marking scheme , 4 marks will be awarded for each correct answer and 1 mark will be deducted for each wrong attempt. Students will not be awarded marks for unanswered questions. A total of 200 questions were asked in the NEET UG 2022 exam, out of which candidates had to answer only 180 questions. Candidates will be awarded marks out of 720.
- Visit the NTA NEET UG 2022 official website, neet.nta.nic.in.
- Click on the NEET 2022 answer key challenge link on the homepage.
- Login using NEET UG 2022 registration number and password.
- Click on the ‘Apply for NEET answer key 2022 challenge’ tab.
- Select the NEET 2022 question paper code.
- Each question will have two columns - ‘Answer as per NTA’ and ‘Suggested answer by candidate.’
- Select the question you wish to challenge and submit the correct answer.
- Verify the challenges opted for and click on the final submit button.
- Pay the NEET 2022 answer key challenging fee and save for future reference.
