NEW DELHI: The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has issued an advisory for candidates participating in the National Eligibility Entrance Test (NEET) counselling for undergraduate, postgraduate, and super-specialty courses. The advisory includes warning against fake letters and agents.

According to the advisory:

  • MCC of DGHS allots seats to candidates on the basis of merit and choices filled by them through MCC software which can be downloaded from MCC website.
  • MCC does not allot seats on nomination basis. It is further reiterated that no letters are issued by issued by MCC of DGHS to successful students. Candidates who have been allotted seats by MCC have to download Provisional Allotment Letters from MCC website and report at allotted colleges for admission. Hence, candidates are advised to beware of any letters issued by scrupulous persons on behalf of MCC regarding allotment of seats.
  • Candidates should be cautious of fake agents and are advised to perform all activities related to Registration on the website themselves instead of hiring agents for the same.
  • The Password created for Registration should not be shared with anyone.
  • MCC does not host any website other than mcc.nic.in. Candidates should beware of fake websites.
  • Any case of fraudulent website/ agent may be immediately reported to MCC and FIR may be lodged by the candidate for such matters.

MCC has extended the reporting deadline of NEET UG counselling 2022 stray vacancy round till today, December 29.

NEET SS counselling 2022 round 2 choice-filling window is open of the official website – neet.nta.nic.in. Candidates will be able to fill choices till January 3. The seat allotment result will be declared on January 5, 2023. The reporting for round 2 will begin from January 6.
