NEET MDS 2025 will have time-bound sections, notifies NBEMS

Try NowNEW DELHI : Reminding aspirants that the National Eligibility Entrance Test - Master of Dental Surgery (NEET MDS) 2025 will have time-bound sections as announced earlier, the National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) explained the question paper pattern. The board also informed that NEET MDS 2025 demo test will be available on the official website, natboard.edu.in from April 9 onwards.
NEET MDS 2025 will be conducted on April 19 in a computer-based test (CBT). The exam timings will be 9 am to 12 noon. NEET MDS 2025 admit card will be issued on April 15.
“As already notified by NBEMS vide its notice dated 4th May 2024, it has been decided to introduce mandatory time-bound sections in all NBEMS MCQ-based examinations, such as NEET-PG, NEET-MDS, NEET-SS, FMGE, DNB-PDCET, GPAT, DPEE, FDST and FET which are conducted on a computer-based platform. This measure has been implemented to enhance the security and sanctity of the exams in light of emerging threats during the examination process,” the medical board said in the latest notice.
NEET MDS 2025 exam pattern
Accordingly, the NEET MDS 2025 question paper will be divided into two time-bound sections – section A and section B. Part A will comprise 100 questions and candidates will get 75 minutes whereas part B will consist of 140 questions and will be allotted 105 minutes.
Examinees will not be allowed to proceed to the next part until completion of the allotted time of the previous part and will be restricted from reviewing the questions or modifying the responses of a part after the completion of the allotted time. Questions of the second section will start automatically after the completion of the first section.
“Candidates will be able to access the Demo Test at NBEMS website under the NEET MDS 2025 application link webpage from 9th April 2025 onwards,” NBEMS added.
The medical board closed the re-registration window for NEET MDS on April 6 for aspirants who became eligible after the extension of NEET MDS 2025 internship completion deadline.
