NEET MDS Counselling 2026: Round 2 seat allotment list out, 1,818 candidate entries included

The National Eligibility cum Entrance Test Master of Dental Surgery Counselling 2026 round 2 seat allotment list is out and includes details of candidates, their ranks, allotted quota, institute, course, category and the status of their round 2 allocation. The PDF includes details of candidates participating in second round of NEET MDS counselling and also changes from round 1 to round 2. The allotment status includes retained seats, upgraded seats and fresh allotments made in the second round.

A total of 333 seats have been allocated in this round and 280 seats have been upgraded.

Candidates allotted seats in round 2 can check their rank, the institute and MDS course allotted to them, along with the applicable quota and category. The list includes seats under the All India quota as well as other quotas such as Delhi University, IP University, Muslim Minority and Self-Financed Merit Seat.

Details to check on round 2 list

Round 2 list includes allotments across several dental institutes and specialities. Among the institutes appearing in the list are:

• Maulana Azad Institute and Dental Sciences, New Delhi
• Faculty of Dental Sciences, KGMU, Lucknow
• Dr Ziauddin Ahmad Dental College, AMU, Aligarh
• Institute of Medical Sciences, BHU, Varanasi
• Government Dental College and Hospital, Mumbai
• Post Graduate Institute of Dental Sciences, Rohtak

Some candidates retained their round 1 seats, while others were upgraded to a different institute or course. Those who did not opt for upgradation continued with their existing allocation. Candidates who did not fill fresh choices did not receive a new allotment.

Candidates whose category or quota has changed within the same institution and course must obtain an online-generated relieving letter and take admission against the changed category or quota seat. They must obtain a fresh online-generated admission letter; otherwise, the allotted seat may be cancelled due to non-admission.
