NEET PG 2021 counselling put on hold until SC decides on OBC, EWS reservation
NEET-PG 2021 counselling has been put on hold due to a pending court case in the Supreme Court. NEET PG counselling will resume after the case is over.
NEW DELHI: The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has postponed the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for postgraduate (NEET PG 2021) counselling which was to begin today, October 25. As per the recent notice by MCC, NEET PG 2021 counselling has been put on hold due to the pending court case before the Supreme Court.

NEET PG counselling 2021 will resume after the clarifications are sought. NEET-PG counselling registration for round one was to begin from October 25 and the choice filling and locking was scheduled to start on October 26, 2021.
NEET PG counselling 2021 postponed
As per the Bar and Bench report, the NEET PG counselling will not start till the Supreme Court decides on the Economically Weaker Section (EWS) reservation. “Counselling will not start till we decide on the issue” said Justice Chandrachud.
Therefore, the MCC has released a notice mentioning that the “Counselling for NEET-PG, 2021 has been put on hold due to the pending court case before the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India. The NEET PG counselling will resume after the clarifications are received.

Click on ‘PG counselling’
Click on the ‘Counselling registration’ link
Enter the personal, NEET PG, contact and other details
Pay the NEET-PG counselling registration fee
Then, fill the choices of colleges and specializations in which candidates wish to get admission into
After the registration is over, the NEET PG 2021 seat allotment will be done on the basis of choice filling, seats available, NEET PG rank, reservation criteria and other factors.
