NEET PG 2021 exam date announced; 1.75 lakh candidates to appear for PG exam

Try NowNEW DELHI: The National Board of Examinations (NBE) has rescheduled the exam date of the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for Postgraduate (NEET-PG) 2021. As per the notice released by NBE, the PG medical entrance exam is now scheduled to be held on September 11, 2021. The medical examination was originally scheduled for April 18, which was postponed due to COVID-19. The union minister of Health and Family Welfare (MoHFW), Mansukh Mandaviya, announced the revised NEET PG 2021 exam on July 13.

NEET PG 2021 on September 11
The NBE released a detailed notification on the ‘rescheduled date of NEET PG-2021’. The PG exam will be conducted from 9 am to 12.30 pm in computer-based mode. A total number of 1,75,063 candidates have registered for the NEET PG exam. The application form was available from February 23 to March 15, 2021.
The notice also mentions that fresh NEET PG 2021 admit cards shall be issued through the official website making the previous ones null. Earlier, the hall tickets for NEET PG was released on April 13, 2021.
Taking the COVID-19 conditions into consideration, the NBE has increased the number of test cities and centres for NEET PG 2021. The examination shall be held in more than 260 cities at around 800 test centres across the country. Check the NBE NEET PG notice below.
Keeping in mind the ongoing pandemic condition, the authority will be providing individuals with a protective face shield, face mask and sanitizer sachets at the test centres.

The National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for Post Graduation is a national level examination conducted in 162 cities across the country. The medical examination offers admission into 6,102 (MS/MD/PG Diploma) colleges and 649 Hospitals (DNB). NEET 2021 offers 19,953 seats to MD, 10,821 to MS, 1979 to PG Diploma and 1338 seats to DNB CET.
