Use NowNEW DELHI: The National Board of Examinations (NBE) conducted the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test Postgraduate (NEET PG) 2023 exam today, March 5, 2023. As per expert analysis, the difficulty level of the exam was easy to moderate.
Marrow institute, a learning platform for NEET aspirants, stated that there were multiple questions on the same topic, such as Vitamins, Arthritis, TORCH infection, CMV and HIV. A few of the questions were conceptual and were lengthy and in-depth.
"A significant number of questions were integrated and were having subject overlap. For example: Questions came from Gynaecology-Paediatrics combination, Surgery-Pharma combination, Orthopaedics-Radiology combination etc", added Marrow institute.
Moreover, the institute also said that subjects like OBG, Microbiology, Biochemistry and Medicine were more focused and less number of questions were from Dermatology, Anatomy, Ortho and Anaesthesia. There were multiple questions on the topic, Chronic alcoholism.
NEET PG 2023 exam was held in computer-based test (CBT) mode for a duration of 3.5 hours from 9 am to 12.30 pm. There were a total of 200 multiple-choice questions with each question having 4 response options. The NEET PG 2023 question paper was for 800 marks. Candidates will be awarded 4 marks for every correct answer and 1 mark will be deducted for every wrong answer.
A total of 2,08,898 candidates appeared for the NEET PG 2023 exam at 902 examination centres spread across 277 cities in the country. NBE will declare the NEET PG result on the official websites- natboard.edu.in and nbe.edu.in by March 31, 2023.
