NEW DELHI: The National Board of Examinations (NBE) conducted the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test-Postgraduate (NEET PG 2023). Applicants who have registered and appeared for the medical PG entrance exam will be able to check question paper analysis and updates on answer key and result date here.
The NBE conducted the NEET PG exam 2023 in computer-based mode for three and a half hours. Aspirants were allowed to download the NEET PG admit card 2023 from the official website, natboard.edu.in or nbe.edu.in.
Although there were numerous representations from students, resident doctors groups to postpone NEET PG 2023, the Union health minister Mansukh Mandaviya told the Parliament that the exam will not be postponed.
The minister had also said that the MBBS internship cut-off date was extended to avoid students being ineligible for the exam. However, the exam date was not postponed to prevent further delay in the admission process caused by the COVID-19 pandemic.

As per the NEET PG marking scheme 2023, candidates will be awarded four marks (+4) for a correct response, one mark (-1) will be deducted for a wrong answer, while zero marks will be given for unattempted questions.
NBEMS will soon release the NEET PG 2023 question paper, candidate's response sheet and answer key on its official website, nbe.edu.in.
The NEET PG cut-off for general category candidates is 50th percentile, while the cut-off for reserved category is 40th percentile.
NBE will declare the NEET PG result 2023 by March 31, 2023, on the official website, nbe.edu.in or natboard.edu.in.

Candidates will be allotted admission to 26,168 Doctor of Medicine (MD), 13,649 Master of Surgery (MS), 922 PG Diploma and 1,338 DNB CET seats. The seat allotment will be done based on NEET PG 2023 result, choices filled by candidates, availability of seats, reservation criteria among other factors.
MCC will conduct the NEET PG counselling 2023 after 4 months.
The NEET PG merit list 2023 will be prepared on the basis of the ranks secured by the candidates.
NBE will not release any NEET PG answer key 2023 due to the Non-Disclosure Agreement however, leading coaching institutes will release the same.
The previous year’s cut-off for the General category was 275 marks while that for SC, ST, OBC and General PH was 245 and 260 marks respectively.
The NEET PG 2023 cut-off and toppers list will be released along with the NEET PG 2023 result on the NBE official website.

A total of 2,08,898 candidates appeared for the NEET PG 2023 exam at 902 examination centres spread across 277 cities.

National Exit Test or #NExT will be implemented most likely from December 2023. The test will be replacing NEET PG, FMGE exams for admission to postgraduate courses.

NBEMS in an information bulletin said, “The photograph should not have kinks, scratches and stains, and should definitely match with the candidate presenting the e-Aadhaar Card. Decision of NBEMS in this regard shall be final.”
Items like textual material, notes, pouch, calculator, pen, pen drives, eraser, mobile Pphone, earphones, microphone, wrist watch, health band, calculator, electronic pen and similar other are not allowed.

NEET PG 2023 exam is underway. Health minister Mansukh Mandaviya made a surprise visit to NEET PG 2023 exam centre at Patiala. He viewed the security arrangements and expressed satisfaction regarding conduct of the exam. Union Health Minister also met & interacted with parents of the candidates, the ministry informed.
The NEET PG result will be declared by March 31 on the official websites- natboard.edu.in and nbe.edu.in.

Candidates with big or elaborate tattoos cannot appear for the examination, the ones who wish to appear for the exam must inform authorities in advance.

Students appearing in the medical PG exam should be properly dressed in a formal attire, the NBE said in the exam day guidelines.
NEET PG 2023 candidates will have to affix their recent passport size photograph in the space provided on the NEET PG admit card 2023. Minimum 35x45 mm, and not larger than the box printed on admit card for pasting the photograph with at least 75% area on the photograph should be occupied with the face & head of the candidate, the guidelines read.

No rough paper for rough work or pen/pencil will be provided at the test centre. There is no requirement and no permission to carry a pen or pencil and rough paper inside the test centre.
