MCC NEET PG Counselling 2024 LIVE: State-wise registration details; SC to hear petitions tomorrow

In a written statement to Parliament, the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare reported that the number of NEET PG seats has increased from 31,185 in 2014 to the current total of 70,645. Over the past five years, postgraduate seats have risen significantly, from 39,583 in the 2018-19 academic year to 64,059 in 2022-23, according to Union Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya's response.

• All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) in locations such as New Delhi, Rishikesh, Patna, and Bhopal.
• King George’s Medical University (KGMU), Lucknow.
• Institute of Medical Sciences, Banaras Hindu University (IMS-BHU), Varanasi.
• Maulana Azad Medical College, New Delhi.
• Government Medical College in states like Punjab (Amritsar, Patiala), Gujarat (BJ Medical College, Ahmedabad), and Karnataka (SDU Medical College, Kolar).

Tamil Nadu NEET PG 2024 counselling registration commenced on September 3 and the last date to fill the application form was September 15, The complete Tamil Nadu NEET PG 2024 counselling schedule is yet to be announced.

Candidates are requesting access to their individual NEET PG 2024 response sheet, seeking to view their specific answers to each exam question.

The Supreme Court is scheduled to hear the NEET PG 2024 transparency plea on October 25. This case involves concerns raised by several aspirants regarding last-minute changes to the exam pattern and a lack of transparency in the result calculation process. The petitioners are demanding clarity around the marking system and the normalization process used by the National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS).

The MCC NEET PG 2024 counselling will tentatively consist of round 1, round 2, mop-up round, and AIQ stray vacancy round.

The last-minute changes to the NEET PG 2024 exam pattern have sparked concerns among students and professionals. The National Board of Education (NBE) revised the NEET PG 2024 exam pattern just three days before the test, splitting it into two parts, which students argued created confusion and stress.

The MCC National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for Post-Graduation (NEET PG) 2024 counselling registration has commenced on September 20 at mcc.nic.in.
