The NEET PG 2024 exam was held on August 11, with 2,28,540 candidates appearing at 416 examination centres across the country. Conducted by the National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS), the exam is for admission to postgraduate medical programmes, including Doctor of Medicine (MD) and Master of Surgery (MS), offered by both government and private medical colleges.

Based on NEET PG 2024 counselling, a total of 26,168 doctor of medicine (MD), 13,649 master of surgery (MS), 922 PG diplomas, and 1,338 DNB CET seats will be filled by students.

The exam authority is expected to release the complete NEET PG counselling 2024 schedule soon, followed by choice filling for candidates.

Yes, candidates have to pay counselling registration fee along with a security deposit fee as per their category for NEET PG 2024 counselling.

The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) is yet to announce the Karnataka NEET PG 2024 counselling schedule. The Karnataka NEET PG 2024 counselling registration link will be active at cetonline.karnataka.gov.in.

The Director General of Medical Education and Training (DGME) in Uttar Pradesh has debarred 81 candidates from participating in the UP NEET PG counselling 2024 for failing to join the seats allocated to them during the stray vacancy round last year.
