NEW DELHI: The National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test postgraduate (NEET PG 2024) exam will be conducted today by the National Board of Examinations in Medical Science (NBEMS) in 500 exam centres across the country. Around 2 lakh candidates will be appearing for the PG medical entrance exam. The NBE will be holding the exam in two shifts from 9 am to 12.30 pm.
The NBEMS decided to introduce mandatory time-bound sections in all its MCQ-based exams, including NEET PG 2024, from this year onwards. As per the earlier exam pattern, the NEET PG question paper had 200 multiple-choice questions (MCQs) with each question having 4 response options. The exam was held for a duration of 3 hours and 30 minutes. However, as per the revised exam pattern, there will be multiple time-bound sections.
The NEET PG admit card 2024 is a mandatory document to be carried along with a valid photo ID issued by the government authorities. The NEET PG admit card download link is available on the official website, natboard.edu.in.
NEET PG 2024 dress code for male candidates
- Male candidates are only allowed to wear half sleeves shirts and t-shirts.
- Male candidates are not allowed to wear shoes with thick soles.
- Only casual and simple clothes are allowed.
NEET PG 2024 dress code for female candidates
- Female candidates are not allowed to wear full sleeves, embroidered clothes and printed jeans.
- Items such as earrings, nose rings, bracelets, necklaces, nose pins are not allowed inside the exam hall.
- Female candidates can wear half sleeves dresses.

NEET PG general guidelines
- The NEET PG exam will be held in computer-based test (CBT) mode.
- The question paper will have multiple time-bound sections.
- Candidates will have to carry their NEET admit card to the exam centre.
- They are required to reach the exam centre well in advance to avoid last-minute hassle.
- Electronic devices such as mobile phones, bluetooth, smart watches, notes are prohibited inside the exam hall. Action will be taken against those candidates who are found using unfair means.

Candidates can follow the steps given below to download the NEET PG hall ticket 2024.
- Visit the NBEMS official website, natboard.edu.in and nbe.edu.in.
- Click on the NEET PG admit card download link on the ‘NEET PG 2024’ tab.
- Enter login credentials such as application number and password.
- Submit the details entered.
- NEET PG admit card will be displayed.
- Check the details entered and take a printout in A4 size paper.
