The NEET PG exam date 2024 was postponed thrice now due to paper leak allegations and other administrative reasons. On August 9, the Supreme Court heard the petition seeking postpone NEET PG citing allocation of far-off exam centres. It, however, refused to defer the exam stating that the 2 lakh aspirants will suffer.
The NEET PG exam centres have also been reduced to 500, senior advocate Sanjay Hedge informed the top court yesterday. He also talked about the concerns raised by the aspirants regarding the normalisation method as the exam will be held in two shifts this time.
In response to this, the NBEMS today issued a clarification stating that the NEET PG 2024 results will be prepared using the AIIMS normalisation method for Institute of National Importance Combined Entrance Test (INI CET).
“NBEMS has adopted the process which is currently being used by AIIMS-New Delhi for its various examinations conducted in more than one shift including but not limited to INI-CET, in preparation of results for NEET-PG 2024,” the board said.
The NBEMS has issued the NEET PG exam day guidelines to be followed by the applicants.
