NEET PG 2025 on June 15; NBEMS to hold exam in CBT mode in two shifts

Download nowNEW DELHI: The wait is over! The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) has confirmed the NEET PG exam date 2025 today. The National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test - postgraduate (NEET PG 2025) will be held on June 15 in computer based test (CBT) mode in two shifts.
The NBE will conduct the “NEET-PG 2025 on 15th June 2025 on a Computer Based Platform in Two Shifts”, the latest notification read. “Information bulletin for NEET-PG shall be published at NBEMS website https://natboard.edu.in/viewnbeexam?exam=neetpg in due course,” it added.
The NEET PG brochure 2025 will have details on application date, registration fee, eligibility, exam pattern, syllabus and more.
The NEET PG counselling 2024 was delayed due to several discrepancies in the state merit list issued by the NBEMS and the new domicile policy. Recently, the Congress party criticized the government for the delay in the completion of NEET PG admissions despite declaring the results in August last year.
NEET PG registration 2025 soon
The NEET PG registration is expected to begin from mid-April. Last year, the application form was made available on the official website, natboard.edu.in, on April 16.
The NBE conducts the NEET PG exam for admission into MD, MS, PG diploma medical courses for the academic session 2025-26. The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) will conduct the NEET PG counselling 2025 to fill the following seats based on the All India Rank (AIR).
- All India 50% quota seats for all states and Union territories of India.
- State quota seats for all states and Union territories of India.
- All private medical colleges, institutions and deemed universities all across the country
- Armed Forces Medical Services Institutions.
- Post MBBS DNB courses,
- Direct 6 years DrNB courses
- Post MBBS NBEMS Diploma courses.
However, AIIMS, New Delhi and other AIIMS, PGIMER, Chandigarh, JIPMER, Puducherry, NIMHANS, Bengaluru, and Sree Chitra Tirunal Institute for Medical Sciences and Technology, Trivandrum do not offer PG admissions through NEET PG score.
