NEET PG 2026 final answer key on or after October 1

For the first time, the National Board of Examination in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) will issue the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test Postgraduate (NEET PG) 2026 answer key tentatively on October 1. Candidates will be able download the NEET PG answer key through the official website at natboad.edu.in. NEET PG Result 2026 LIVE.

Over 2.65 lakh candidates, who appeared for the NEET PG 2026, held on August 30, will also be able to access the question ID numbers, correct answer key IDs, response IDs, and scores for each question, along with the final answer key.

The NBEMS has declared the NEET PG 2026 results on its official portal for admission to MD, MS, and PG diploma courses. Candidates can download the final result pdf using their login details such as application ID and password.

NEET PG 2026: How to calculate score

Here is the formula to calculate the NEET PG 2026 scores using raw scores, answer key and response sheet.

• Raw score = (Number of correct answers × 4) − (Number of incorrect answers × 1)

The medical board will also issue NEET PG 2026 raw scores, and normalisation details for the first time.

“This move aims to enhance transparency in the evaluation process, addressing concerns about fairness,” according to an official notification. Candidates will be able to access their raw scores, percentiles, and All India Ranks through the NBEMS portal.

NEET PG 2026: How to download answer key

Candidates can follow the steps given below to download the NEET PG 2026 answer key.

• Go to the official website at natboard.edu.in.
• Click on the NEET PG answer key 2026 link.
• A new window will be open.
• Enter login details such as application number and password.
• Click on the submit icon.
• NEET PG 2026 answer key will be available on the screen.
• Check your answers and download the answer key pdf.

According to the marking scheme, candidates will be given four marks for each correct response, while one mark will be deducted for each wrong answer.

There will be no marks given for unanswered questions.
