NEW DELHI: The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has announced a special stray vacany round for the National Eligibility Entrance Test for Postgraduate (NEET PG) counselling 2022. MCC has also released the schedule for the extra round of NEET PG 2022 counselling. According to the official schedule, payment of security deposit will commence on January 6, 2023. MCC’s decision comes after candidates demanded for a special round since several clinical seats remained vacant post the last round of counselling.

“As per the approval accorded by MoHFW (F. No.U-12021/05/2022-MEC) Medical Counselling Committee of DGHS will conduct a Special Stray Vacancy Round for the vacant PG (M.D/ M.S/Diploma/PG DNB/ MDS) Seats of All India Quota/ Central University/ Central Institute/ DeemedUniversity/ PG DNB in an online mode,” read MCC’s latest notification.

“For ensuring faithful obedience of time schedule and also keeping in view the limited time available for conducting counselling. All participating institutes/colleges are directed to treat all Saturday and Sunday as working days,” MCC notification added.
