NEW DELHI: The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) will announce the National Eligibility Entrance Test - Postgraduate (NEET PG) counselling 2024 schedule soon. MCC NEET PG counselling schedule 2024 will be issued on the official website, mcc.nic.in.
The counselling committee commenced the registration process for the first round of PG medical counselling on September 20. However, there has been no update on the last date of registration and admission schedule. PG medical aspirants have been demanding release of notification citing delay in academic cycle.
Several medical students’ associations and resident doctors’ groups shared a tentative NEET PG 2024 counselling schedule on social media, however, the MCC website still says, “PG counselling schedule 2024 will be available soon.”
Meanwhile, the Supreme Court will hear the NEET PG case on October 25. Candidates who appeared for the exam filed a plea in the top court urging it to direct the National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) to issue answer keys, response sheets, and raw scores. Students alleged lack of transparency in the exam as the board didn’t issue NEET PG 2024 cut-off and used the normalization process for the first time.
NEET PG counselling is conducted for admission to All India Quota (AIQ) seats in MD, MS, DNB, and PG Diploma programmes.
