The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has extended the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test Postgraduate (NEET PG) 2025 counselling round 1 choice filling till noon tomorrow for 239 newly added seats. The National Medical Commission (NMC) has added 239 PG seats for deemed universities and removed 235 PG DNB seats across 186 government and 49 private colleges. Candidates edit their college and course preferences for newly added or withdrawn seats as per the revised round 1 schedule.
The rest of the medical seats sanctioned by NMC will be added during the NEET PG counselling 2025 round 2.

Recently, the MCC removed 73 postgraduate seats from the NEET PG 2025 seat matrix, including 39 from Gujarat, 12 from Jammu & Kashmir, 4 from Telangana, 9 from Uttar Pradesh, 2 from West Bengal, and 7 from Chhattisgarh.
Previously, a total of 28,663 seats were available for NEET PG 2025 counselling across MD, MS, PG Diploma, and DNB programmes under various quotas.
