NEET PG Stray Vacancy 2023: Choice filling begins at mcc.nic.in; choice locking ends tomorrow

Download nowNEW DELHI: The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has started the choice filling for NEET PG stray vacancy counselling 2023. All candidates who appeared in the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test - postgraduate (NEET PG 2023) will be eligible to register for the NEET PG counselling last round at the official website, mcc.nic.in.
“The Registration for Stray Vacancy Round of PG Counselling 2023 is now available. The Reset Registration facility is available up to 10:00 AM of 11.10.2023,” the MCC NEET PG official website read.
As per the revised NEET PG counselling schedule 2023, the choice filling facility will be available up to 11:59 PM on October 11. Choice locking facility will be available from 4 PM to 11.59 PM on October 11.
Candidates applying for NEET PG stray round will have to make fresh choice filling as earlier choices will be treated as null and void. They will have to select the colleges and courses in the order of preference. “Choices once locked cannot be modified and any request to MCC/DGHS regarding change/alteration of choices will not be entertained,” the MCC said.
NEET PG stray vacancy round 2023
As per the eligibility criteria, the following candidates will be eligible for stray vacancy counselling.
- Candidates who are not holding any seat or did not participate in NEET PG round-1 and round 2 counselling are eligible.
- Candidates who were allotted seats in round 3 and did not join cannot participate in stray vacancy round.
- As the NMC has reduced the NEET PG cut-off to zero for all categories, all candidates who appeared in the exam will be eligible to participate.
- Data will be shared between centre and states after round 3 and if any candidate has their name in the list provide by state after round 3, then such candidates will be eliminated from counselling before processing for all-India stray vacancy round.
NEET PG 2023 Admission: Required documents
Selected candidates will have to submit the following documents while reporting to the allotted colleges.
- Allotment letter issued by MCC.
- NEET PG admit card issued by the National Board of Examinations (NBE).
- NEET PG rank letter issued by the NBE.
- Marksheets of MBBS, BDS 1st, 2nd and 3rd professional examinations.
- MBBS, BDS degree certificate or provisional certificate.
